PC Playtest FAQ
How will I know if I'm selected to participate in the PC playtest?
If you've been selected to participate in the PC playtest, we'll email you with further details.
How do I download the game to play in the PC playtest?
If you've been selected to participate, you'll be directed to the King of Meat website. There you can sign in/sign up with an Amazon Games iD to receive your code.
Will my progress as a tester carry over to the retail release?
Your game progress during the PC playtest will not carry over to the retail release.
When does the PC playtest open?
The PC playtest opened on 29 April 2025. It will run until the full game launches.
What languages does the PC playtest support?
The PC playtest supports English audio and text.
I already signed up to be a play tester, do I need to sign up again for the PC playtest?
No, you only need to sign up to become a play tester once. If you've been selected to participate, we'll email you with further details.
Can I play with a controller on PC?
Yes, you can use a controller on PC when playing in the PC playtest.
Can I stream or create content about the game?
This is a confidential playtest of King of Meat. Your participation in this pre-release test is subject to the Non-Disclosure Agreement in Section 2.8 of our Terms of Use.
By participating, you agree to keep it strictly confidential. You may not disclose, in any form, content from this playtest. This means no streaming, posting of videos, or sharing images from this pre-release version of the game. Any breach of confidentiality will be treated seriously.
Do I need an internet connection to play?
Yes, an internet connection is required to play the King of Meat PC playtest.
Where can I get support for the PC playtest?
Accepted testers will receive an invite to our private test Discord for support. You can also get support for Amazon Games iD through our Amazon Games iD Support channels.
I was removed from the game. What can I do?
Due to this being a limited-time test, any moderation penalties applied during the test will not be reviewed for reversal. We recommend reviewing the Code of Conduct to ensure you are familiar with our guidelines.
I'm having an issue with the code I received. Can you help?
