Zom Zaper
The first CEO of Golden Anvil, Zom knows how to upsell Loregok on the art of killing. Not content to just make weapons for the game, Zom wants to make weapons that make people feel. He wants products that make people feel something in their hearts, minds, lower intestines, and spinal columns with each purchase. Zom's commercial campaigns win him several awards (that he also creates), and cement him as the "Father of Kommericals©"

Celestia Komstructor
The architect responsible for building the Komstruct Koliseum claims to have invented the shape of the Koliseum (a circle), which is widely disputed but never publicly, for fear of being sued by the Komstruct Corporation. She is also responsible for the short-lived experiment of placing buzzsaws in every stadium seat. While this proves to be unpopular, it becomes the basis for their mascot, Buzzworth Billy.

Wizards
As the game grows in popularity, Contenders of all kinds battle to beat the dungeons.
Enter stage left: Wizards! Their magical enhancements do bad things - unspeakable things! Literal and metaphorical bombs. Shapeshifting, spells, sorcery, unfair horrors! The leagues are in turmoil.

Kreatyne The Powderful
Frustration hits boiling points. The audience interest begins to dwindle due to unpredictability of the games. Enter Kreatyne the Powderful. His uncommon bravery and strength allows him to finally break the Wizards 100-year reign as King of Meat champions except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those are "leg days." It's unknown if he isn't using his own enhancements, especially due to his long-term employment at Regulated Effects, but the masses are just happy to see a new Contender claim the fame and glory. Magic of all types is banned unless sanctioned by Regulated Effects.

It's the Roaring Sixties!
Clinical Magical Trials are deemed a success after Kreatyne the Powderful's rise to champion status. Regulated Effects decide to expand CMTs further, allowing more Contenders to be part of the cutting edge, legal [as far as you know] magical research division.

The Seventies...
...the experimental phase. Golden Anvil employees see the success of Regulated Effects CMTs and take matters into their own hands....however, this proves less successful and results in the first weapon to be banned in Loregok and King of Meat history.

The Bonepickers
Due to unsavoury but necessary working conditions, the Bonepickers were formed to get the Skeletons back on their feet to.... well PARRRTTTAAAY!!!

The Crowns
Emerging as KOM's first true pop culture sensations, these four regal Contenders quickly amass a huge following of devoted viewers. Ironlaw Plaza
The KOMtv backstage area is renamed the Ironlaw Plaza - the social space where you can shop till you drop (quite literally). Named after Idra Ironlaw of The Crowns, whose shocking on-air death by a rogue wizard becomes one of the most infamous moments in broadcasting history. Wizard alert remains high - some grudges never die, especially when they're broadcast on KOMtv.
